Is pelvic floor biofeedback painful?

Pelvic floor biofeedback should not be painful. If internal sensors are used, you might feel mild discomfort during insertion, similar to inserting a tampon. During the exercises, you might feel muscle fatigue, but not pain. If you experience pain at any point, inform your therapist immediately so they can adjust the approach.

How long will treatment take?

It depends on your condition and how you respond. You pay per visit, there is no package to buy and no minimum number of visits. You'll typically see some improvement within the first few sessions, with continued progress over the course of treatment. Will I need to undress for the procedure?

Partial undressing from the waist down is necessary for sensor placement, but your privacy and dignity are always respected. Can I get a biofeedback device to use at home?

There are home biofeedback devices available, but we recommend starting with professional guidance in the clinic.
