What to bring to a first visit
- Any imaging you already have(X-ray, MRI) and current prescriptions.
- Clothing you can move in, so the assessment can include movement testing.
- An idea of what the pain stops you doing: the assessment starts from that, not from a machine.
A first visit begins with a detailed history and a physical assessment, and you leave with a working explanation in plain language and the first version of a home programme. Treatment usually begins the same day.
